The Social Planner tool allows you to connect multiple social media accounts and manage them in one area. By connecting Facebook pages, you can use the Social Planner to schedule, create, and push out posts to your Facebook pages, along with Facebook Groups, Instagram, and Google My Business as well.
NOTE: If you’ve already connected Facebook pages from a profile and want to add new pages, you will need to remove the application from your Facebook Settings > Business Integration section in Facebook. Then, follow the steps below.
Pro Tips:
- Ensure you have Admin rights to add your Facebook pages. You have to log yourself in with the same profile which has all the pages you’re an admin for.
- Facebook’s API requirements only allow you to add pages for posting; you cannot post to personal pages.
Step 1: Connect Your Facebook Page(s)
- Navigate to Marketing on the left > Social Planner on the top right > click on the gear icon to go to Social Planner settings and from there> connect Facebook

Or if you already have at least one page connected:

- If connecting any profile for the first time, you must enable permissions for LeadConnector.
- Click Continue

- Select the page(s) you wish to connect. You’ll see a list of all the pages connected to your profile. Select the one(s) you wish to connect to the Social Planner.

- Next, Verify your connection. Following these instructions, you can add as many pages as you wish from the same or different Facebook Profiles.

Facebook has two types of Pages - Classic and New Page experiences. If you are using the Classic Page, please follow the above flow. If you are using the New Page Experience, you will be required to access the following role:

Note: You can manage all of your accounts from the Settings icon, anytime. Add, change, or remove connected pages and groups anytime.
Note:No more errors when logging in to connect to your Facebook Page.
We have upgraded to a better version of the Facebook API, which resolves the following issue:
- Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner.
- Go to Settings.
- Connect your Facebook Page.
Previously, while attempting to connect, you might have encountered a message indicating that the page doesn't have adequate permissions. The possible reason for this issue was:
- The third-party app, LeadConnector, didn't have access to the page.
- Access was only available from the business manager side.
- Users with business manager access will be able to connect without issues.
